We have been developing and manufacturing mounts for wind turbines for 15 years supplying gearbox bushes, generator mounts, direct-drive torque reactors, nacelle hood mounts, coupling bushes and yaw bearings.

As a consequence of the increasing size and range of wind turbines our technical expertise in this field has reached an enviable level. Our products are designed to undergo shock loading, isolate noise and harmful vibration, reduce fatigue loading on structures and take-up small misalignments between fixings.

We make predominantly soft mounts with high noise attenuation and good shock protection, although we also make parts to specific stiffness requirements using our extensive knowledge of the formulation and manufacture of natural rubber parts. To date, we have made parts for generators from 150KW to 2MW, and entered discussion for even larger designs. Our parts have had considerable success in operation out in the field and we have original parts still in service after fifteen years.
